Gamers Without Borders is turning up the heat as it heads into Week 3 – starting with its second International Elite tournament this weekend, before pitting Saudi Arabia’s Premier League footballers and their respective clubs against each other online!
- Rainbow Six: Siege is the game the world’s best gamers will be competing on over the weekend as they battle it out to win their share of US$10million for charities leading the fight against COVID-19. The series will be streamed live with expert commentary and analysis starting on Saturday, with viewers able to tune in via Twitch, YouTube and Facebook.
- Getting underway that same day will be the return to action – virtual action, that is! – for Saudi’s leading football clubs and their players, as GWB launches the eMBS Challenge.The unique gaming tournament will pair professional footballers from each of the Saudi Professional League’s (SPL) 16 clubs with elite-level FIFA pro gamers, and together they will fight their way through a four-team group stage, before a knock-out phase en route to a bragging-rights securing final to be held on May 14.
- For those who love to play esports, Gamers Without Borders’Global Community events continue this week. A new FIFA20 Seasons tournament begins on Friday, with an Ultimate Team competition kicking-off on Monday. There will also be Fortnite 2x2 (starting Saturday & Wednesday), and Games of the Week series on Overwatch, CoD: Warzone (3v3), CoD: Warzone (solo) and Apex Legends.
