Esports athletes are uniting in fight against coronavirus through a series of ESL supported internationaltournaments featuring the most popular gaming titles
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, May 16:
Gamers Without Borders, an e-sports fundraiser for COVID-19 charities,is set for its first Battle Royale of the season with Fortnite confirmed as its fourth International Elite tournament.
The three-day series running Tuesday May 19th through Thursday May 21stwill welcome no less than 50 duo teams competing online from around the world – ten from the Middle East & Africa and 40 from across Europe.
They will each battle it out to win a share of a massive US$2million charity prize fund, which they will then donate to an organization of their choice leading the global fight against COVID-19.
Six matches will take place each day, with US$500,000 up for grabs on Days 1 & 2 and US$1million at stake on the tournament’s final day.

Up for grabs for the winning teams and their chosen charities on Days 1 & 2 will be US$150,000, with a further US$350,000 shared between all other participating duos. On Day 3, the first placed outfit will secure their charity of choice US$300,000, with US$700,000 divided between the other 49 teams and their selected organizations.
The overall Gamers Without Borders season prize fund is US $10 million that winners have been donating to COVID-19 charities of their choice
Gamers Without Borders has partnered with a range of international charitiesworking to provide relief and recovery to communities impacted by coronavirus. These includeUNICEF, International Medical Corps (IMC), GAVI The Vaccine Alliance, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) and Direct Relief.
Fans across the globe can watch all the action in multiple languages via Twitch, YouTube and Facebook and Huya. Each day’s matches will start at 7pm CEST
